Guardant Health is a leading precision medicine company focused on guarding wellness and giving every person more time free from cancer.
When it came to its own employees, the company wanted a benefits strategy that reflected that same commitment to earlier action and cancer expertise. Through its partnership with Color, Guardant employees have direct clinical care and continuous management across the full journey from an ASCO-certified virtual cancer clinic.
This includes access to Guardant’s own Shield test alongside Color’s suite of at-home cancer screenings, plus diagnostic follow up, treatment planning, active treatment support, and survivorship care.
Hear the strategy behind the partnership, the early results (including 34% screening adherence increase, 3 precancerous lesions found and intervened on early, and 2:1 ROI in just five months), and patient stories that show what happens when cancer expertise, accessible screening, and direct clinical care come together.
Sonika Hegde is the Director of Global Benefits at Guardant Health, a leading precision medicine company in the Bay Area focused on transforming patient care and conquering cancer with data. An East Coast native and former consultant, she has played an integral role in evolving Guardant’s benefits function as the company has grown to almost 3,000 employee globally. Today, she leads the company’s benefits strategy, developing thoughtful and inclusive programs that respond to the evolving needs of employees and their families.
Meaghan Kaplan is Head of Mid-Market Customer Success at Color, where she leads the team responsible for retention and growth across the mid-market segment. She has spent more than a decade in healthcare, beginning in research and consulting, where she partnered with health systems on the data behind patient experience, clinical performance, and engagement before moving into customer success and supporting teams looking to build best-in-class benefits programs. That experience has deeply informed her leadership philosophy, with data-informed decision-making, repeatable process, and a strong focus on customer outcomes serving as the core of her approach. She holds an MPH from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.
